I got myself up today around 7’ish to get ready for my hospital appointment. Just a check up on the foot I’d had surgery on a year and a half ago, nothing serious. There were some delays to the service but that’s expected to be honest. I’ve been going to the same hospital for my foot issue for three years, hell I’ve known the same staff for ages, myself and the staff damn know that there’s delays constantly so I was happy to wait and talk to them.
I arrived home an hour and so later, rested and then met up with some friends at London Fields, a green space in Hackney. The usual gang was there, Choi, Toni, Tony (lol) along with some more recent faces like Kevin and Abdullah. Daniel, a friend from my sixth form was also there. It was far too hot for me to have arrived dressed in what I wore today. I wore only a top but it was still far too much, and I couldn’t even strip down because it was all I wore. Next time I head out I’ll be sure to wear only a T-shirt.
I tried tennis for the first time today, aha. Definitely much harder than I thought it’d be, much harder. Very fun though. We managed to secure a court for a while until someone who’d booked it arrived. I managed to hit the ball out of the actual court three times onto the road, and one time to the neighbour living aside the court who happened to look South American and had the most fucked up tattoos you could even think of. All over his body too. Like one of those that’d just left one of the prisons Ross Kemp with his massive ego tends to visit. Crazy shit, crazy shit. At least he got it back us without taking one of my kidneys. Gotta love my kidneys.
From tennis to frisbees, from flying discs to Mario Kart on the DS’s and tanning in the sunlight. Today was good. A nice day out. Nothing overly special, nothing overly hyped nor a day of built up high expectations…
Just a merriment day.

Until Tomorrow…
